Review of Foxship Bakery- Vegan Cookies

I was so happy when Veg News put out a post about “16 Vegan Cookies that Ship Nationwide. I was looking for the big, soft cookies and I think I found them with Foxship Bakery. These cookies arrived just in time for quarantine.

I ordered online and patiently waited as they freshly made and shipped my cookies. I ordered the chocolate chip and cookies n’ cream cookies. They come in packs of six. These are huge cookies! Quarter pound cookies!

For me it’s hard to pick which cookie I like best because they are equally delicious. Honestly I have been alternating between the two flavors and have been ridiculously happy. You can heat them up in the microwave or oven. In my experience 400 degree in the oven for 5 minutes makes it really soft.

I will be ordering more cookies from Foxship bakery in the future. I can’t wait to try more flavors. I am so glad they ship all the way from Chicago to Dallas. And these vegan cookies are seriously amazing! Everything and more that I could want in a cookie!

Review of Cinnaholic- Vegan Cinnamon Rolls

It is completely unbelievable that Cinnaholic is 100% vegan.  I found Cinnaholic on Instagram and was recommended by a Dallas local woman who is vegan to check them out.  Their website is very appealing and their Instagram photos are tempting.

After doing some research, I learned that there are two locations near Dallas.  One in downtown Dallas and one in Richardson.  The Dallas location is only open during the week until 3:30 p.m.  It is located in the bottom of a business building in the cafeteria.  I was very confused walking into the business building, luckily I asked for help.  When I arrived in the basement it was the last food shop in the basement.  When I found the shop, there was no one in line.  I asked the cashier what I should order since it was my first time eating there.  She informed me that they had cinnamon rolls that could have a variety of toppings, cookies or cookie dough.  The worker said she likes the cinnamon rolls but loves the cookie dough.  The words she used was that she couldn’t stop eating the cookie dough.

I decided on the cookie monster cinnamon roll.  It was a cinnamon roll with icing, cookie dough, chocolate chips and chocolate syrup.  It looked amazing and was completely vegan.  Visually it looked amazing.  When I tasted it, it was crunchy, warm, sweet and chocolaty.  The cookie dough was out of this world, so flavorful.  It was so good that I had to take a break while eating it.

I can’t wait to go again and have a yummy dessert.  I am glad I tried the cookie monster cinnamon roll.  I think it was a great introduction to Cinnaholic.  It was a perfect blend of the cinnamon roll and cookie dough.  Next time I go I will probably just order the edible cookie dough.  It was really good and unforgettable.  If you are in the area or can I highly recommend stopping by Cinnaholic.  It is definitely worth it and delicious.
